First Image is an independent creative design agency, based in Soho. They specialise in motion graphics, animation (2D/3D), editing, post production (SD/HD) and speaker support for single screen and multi-screen.

Managing Director Terry Vermigle explains that his requirement was for an integrated server with shared storage which would integrate seamlessly with the existing edit and graphic suites. In his initial contact with GBLabs he was aquainted with the sort of equipment that he would need in order to satisfy these requirements - and was given a broad brush understanding of the cost and likely return on investment.
Terry then trawled the internet and attended various trade shows to get some ideas of what was available and most importantly who could actually supply, install and maintain the kit.
After exploring several technologies and Solutions Providers; GB Labs, in conjunction with one of their UK resellers, were invited to First Image's studios and as Terry recalls “They were prepared to talk to us in a language we could understand and then prepared a well thought out solution at a competitive price”. "In all, the consultancy process was very thorough and culminated in a full demo of 'Space' at the studio. Furthermore, the installation went smoothly and ran to schedule."
Asked what the 'Space' solution had added to the company Terry replied “We feel that we now have a rock solid workflow and are more proficient and professional in our approach”.
Terry had no hesitation when asked if he would recommend Space “it does everything we ask of it, on time and within budget”
