GB Labs would like to invite you to view their latest technology, Unify Hub Generation 2. As well as discussing 'How a global unified filesystem answers media workflow challenges' at breakfast roundtable 15 on Thursday 23.

Unify Hub Gen2 enables our file system to be used across the world in a seamless and fast way for virtually all media workflows.

It can leverage either GB Labs on premise storage servers or the GB Labs cloud storage, Nebula. It can also be used with both storage products together to offer a truly elastic and scalable solution.

Media users can connect into the ‘single point of truth’ filesystem from on premise, home, remote offices or from any other location. They can use any Win, Mac or Linux workstation with the Unify Hub 2 client software installed to securely access and benefit from block level local caching.

This simply gives all users the feeling and benefits of on premise shared storage from any location.

Furthermore, the file path for users is identical and all acceleration/caching is done within the filesystem which allows virtually all workflows to simply work as they did with on premise storage. This makes the transition from in office to worldwide access incredibly simple.
