Matt highlighted our IABM award-winning NebulaNAS cloud solution. He talked about the uniqueness of NebulaNAS, which is designed to help accelerate post-production and emulate the post-production experience, for people who are working anywhere in the world!
NebulaNAS is a hybrid product that uses GB Labs’ block level technology, originally developed for its hardware products over twelve years ago, making it a mature, stable solution to create seamless workflows in the most extreme internet conditions, with no proxies needed. It’s been tested by major studios, in remote production environments and hotels and also on film locations including the jungles of Rwanda, Northern India and Cambodia.
How Secure is Data?
NebulaNAS is fully encrypted, both in flight and at rest, with full 256-bit encryption. The password keys are only known to the IP owners, so its completely private - IP owners remain in full control of the cache too, no matter where people are working from.
What is The Future for GB Labs?
We are looking to grow our business in verticals, as well as in our traditional media and entertainment clients, such as medical, sports, corporates and the video markets as well as growth of our products. Some of the new technology previewed at the Show, were SPACE NVMe servers, available at surprisingly realistic prices, compared to spinning disks.
